First off, Baronas VIP Host Yo is amazing and she alone makes going to Barona worth it. She is extremely accommodating and extremely congenial. After playing at the surrounding casinos, Yo and Barona are by far the best. The rooms are clean with amazing views and the food is high quality and fresh. For me, the drive is worth it to have such a friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend Barona.

This is an amazing place for me, you can feel the cleanliness of the surroundings and the non-smoking area. They have a great view on the outside and the ambience inside this casino is great and you will never forget the different varieties of fast food you can choose. Enjoy and good luck on your play.

Absolutely loved the Barona Casino!!! Establishment is very clean, and you can even asked to get the machine cleaned if you feel it's dirty! We met attendant Gabby!!! She was so nice and informative of the different things they offer, and how they match tiers from other casinos! She was so welcoming. There was another young lady that greeted us, seeing that it was our first time there. She gave us comps for the food court, so sorry I forgot her name!!! Enjoyed playing new games we've never seen before. Already started saving for our next trip to Barona!!!

Barona Casino is truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The service is absolutely top-notch, and you genuinely feel the VIP treatment the moment you arrive. Every detail is thoughtful, every interaction feels personal, and they consistently go above and beyond expectations. What really sets Barona apart is how welcoming they are--they make you feel like family, not just a guest. It's rare to find a place that delivers this level of care and attention so consistently. I'm extremely grateful to have found Barona, and it's easily one of my favorite places to visit. Aurora and Carleen are the best. They are so sweet, polite and very thoughtful. Highly recommend.

I was surprised at how nice and clean the hotel rooms are, and leading up to the room the hallways are lined with beautiful artwork of the Native American Tribes history. The restaurants have great food! The casino is good but I wouldn't say it's a winning casino "for me" and the downside is it's a non smoking casino.

Nice getaway spot. Grounds are manicured. Tanker the time to read the plaques, they offer lots of history. The casino is fun and doesn't reek of smoke. Lots of different food offerings.

If you’ve got an itch to gamble, Barona is the best in Southern California. No smoking, with exception of designated smoking areas, and super clean, from the parking to the bathrooms. Most of the bathrooms have fully enclosed toilet stalls. Love the multi passenger golf carts to drive around the parking lots if you don’t want to walk from your parking space to the entrance. The nicest staff I’ve ever encountered at any business. Everyone waves and welcomes you, from the security staff to the gardner’s. Free scooters to putt around the casino for all customers. Pitch black jack, face up Pai Gow and a high limit room with slots, black jack and baccarat. If you’re a baccarat player, you’ll love Dragon Alley which I believe has at least 10-baccarat tables. The high limit room has 4-baccarat and 4-black jack tables which can be reserved. The food court is larger than surrounding casinos with a vast variety of dining options. The Coffee shop has amazing bakeries amongst other prepared foods to go and is 24-hour. The Sage Restaurant has dining and to go, also open 24/7. There’s a VIP food court limited to VIP players, though it’s easy to become a VIP at Barona with 4-VIP tier levels. Barona doesn’t have silly giveaways like bath towels, waffle makers and stuff most people never use or giveaway. They give vouchers that can be used for free play or cash. Out here and lots of food are their primary benefits IMO. If you like slots, there are plenty from old school to the latest and greatest. Free ATM’s if needed. Large hotel with coffee bar and any overnight amenities complimentary for the asking. Hotel rooms may not appear as fancy as some of the newer hotels, but they are super clean and comfortable. The location is a plus or minus depending on how you view it. Set deep in the hills with a curvy road to get there, motorcyclists and sports car drivers love it. Also great views along the way. Those whom are not the best drivers may find it a bit cumbersome at first, but when you get to know the road, it’s a pleasant drive. Gambling is gambling, win or lose, so take away the gambling and Barona gets my vote for the best in Southern California.

This is regarding the Sage Restaurant. We went out to Barona after dropping off some friends in San Diego. Our initial impression of the resort and the grounds was positive. There's a big emphasis on cleanliness and friendliness. The whole resort was lovely and well kept. And every staff member we interacted with were super friendly and extremely helpful. The Sage Restaurant was large and very well laid out. We were able to be seated by the window overlooking the duck pond. It's a great view even though the weather was a little overcast. The wait staff were great. Very polite, professional and like I mentioned super friendly. We started out with a bread basket which was unusual for lunch. We were happily surprised to find it contained fresh hot fry bread. We haven't had fry bread for years and it was great. Very fresh and outstanding. For lunch we had the fried chicken and the chicken fried steak. The portions were huge and both plates were very tasty. We couldn't believe the size of the food because each plate was only $15 each. It was an amazing deal. It's unlikely that we will make it out to Barona again since it's a 2.5 hour drive from home. But if we do I will look forward to another meal at the Sage Restaurant. Again, super clean place. Super friendly and helpful staff and a great bargain on the meal which was tasty and large portions at a reasonable price.
